Privacy Policy
Catchi (“the App”) is a bilingual social dilemma game. This policy explains what information we process when you use Catchi connected to catchi.bylishi.com, and why.
1. Who we are
Catchi is operated by Bylishi. Contact: support@bylishi.com.
2. What Catchi does not need
- No email sign-up, social login, contacts, or location permission is required to play.
- There are no in-app purchases. A bottom banner may appear on the main tabs.
- We do not sell personal data.
3. Information we process
On your device
- Answers, saved dilemmas, topic filters, language, and similar preferences stored locally.
- Pass & Play nicknames and answers stay on the phone and are cleared when that game ends.
On Catchi servers (connected builds)
- Guest ID. Anonymous Firebase Authentication creates a random guest identifier. Votes are linked to that ID. This is pseudonymous, not guaranteed anonymous.
- Public solo votes. For each exact offer you TAKE or PASS, we store the choice and uniqueness metadata so results can be counted once per guest per offer.
- Public tallies. Other players only see aggregate TAKE/PASS counts for an offer (and Catchi Predictions before enough real votes exist). They do not see your identity.
- Online rooms. Nickname and room answers are sent for that game only. They never count toward public results and are deleted shortly after the room ends.
- Reports. If you report a dilemma, we store the reason and optional detail (contact-like strings may be stripped) for moderation.
4. Catchi Predictions
Before an offer has 10 real community votes, Catchi may show a labelled “Catchi Prediction” derived from an editorial/content model plus the real votes collected so far. Prediction weights are not stored as votes and do not increase the real vote count.
5. Analytics and ads
Catchi may record minimal product events on device (for example: app started, dilemma viewed). Events do not include dilemma text or your TAKE/PASS choice, and are not sent to advertising SDKs.
Catchi is free and shows a bottom banner only on the main tabs (play, saved, friends), after you confirm you are 18+. Ads are not shown on the under-18 screen, or during Pass & Play, party handoff, or online room play. There are no interstitial or rewarded full-screen ads in the current version, and no in-app purchases.
Banners are served through Unity LevelPlay mediation (not Google AdMob). LevelPlay may load ads from networks including ironSource, Unity Ads, and Meta Audience Network. Those partners may receive an advertising identifier (GAID / IDFA when available), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and app technical data, and ad impression or click signals to serve, measure, and improve ads. They do not receive dilemma text, TAKE/PASS answers, nicknames, reports, or guest vote content.
On iOS, Catchi may show an App Tracking Transparency prompt before ads initialize. You can decline tracking and keep playing; ads may still appear but may be less personalized. You can also reset or limit the advertising ID in device settings.

6. Sharing
Shared images hide your answer unless you choose to include it. Opening the system share sheet is not treated as proof that a share was completed.
7. Retention
- Local data remains until you clear it or uninstall the App.
- Server-linked guest votes remain until you delete server-linked data, or as needed to maintain public tallies after deletion recalculation.
- Room data is short-lived.
8. Your choices
- Clear local history in Settings.
- Delete server-linked data in Settings (guest ID and votes linked to it).
- On iOS, decline App Tracking Transparency or change tracking settings later in system Settings.
- Limit ad personalization / reset advertising ID in Android or iOS system settings.

9. Children
Catchi asks players to confirm they are 18+. It is not directed at children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
